MTA Student S-Pass For April
Students at Poly well be some of the first in the city to use a new monthly MTA pass that will replace the old paper tickets. Here's how it works.
In March, all students received an MTA student ID card, along with an S-Pass to use for April MTA transportation. Then, each month at school, new S-Passes will be distributed. They can be used on school days between 6 am and 8 pm, all month long. The S-Pass is about the size and shape or a credit of ATM card. Students just slide it through the fare box on any local MTA bus, insert it at the fare gate at a Metro subway station or have it ready to show to an inspector on the Light Rail.
