Khari Al-Mateen Signs National Letter of Intent

On Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in the Poly Arena of Academia (Room 100), Class of 2010 member Khari Al-Mateen signed an NCAA National Letter of Intent to play football with the University of Maine. The Letter is a contract for Khari to play for Maine in return for a full scholarship to attend the University. While Maine is impressed with Khari as a football player, they are even more impressed with him as a student. The Engineering Department at the University is eager to have him attend.

The ceremony was attended by Khari's parents, aunt, sister (Kira Al-Mateen also a member of Poly's Class of 2010), coaches, administration and Dr. Wilson.
